Bio.
Guillermo Cistari is an Argentine filmmaker born in Buenos Aires in 1988.
He studied Film Directing at Universidad del Cine (FUC), and continued improving his knowledge
studying programs abroad such as "Art of Directing" at New York University (NYU) and "Directing: Mastering of
Camera Techniques" at School of Visual Arts (SVA). However, his comprehensive vision about
Cinematic Storytelling is given thanks to his years of intensive studies in Screenwriting.
During his career he scripted, directed, produced, shot and edited several contents including fictions, documentaries, commercials and music videos. In addition, he developed a deep interest on expanding the boundaries of his profession by working with musicians, painters, playwrights, scientist and thinkers across transdisciplinary creations.
Over the last years, he has been directing and producing contents with Pixlander for international audiences,
including USA and many countries of Europe. Since 2018 he teaches at the university, leading a semester
program specially focused on the main techniques of audiovisual language creation.
Currently, he is developing several films projects while he writes his first feature film: “Flesh and Stone”.
